Stockwood Community Benefit Society

Stockwood Community Benefit Society is a community owned trust created in June 2014 to protect the beautiful biodynamic organic Rush Farm and Stockwood Business Park in perpetuity or simply put – for ever. The objects of the company are to farm the land biodynamically, promote wildlife, promote the development of farm related enterprise, promote rural employment, promote rural training, and to promote sustainability through better use of technology and better practice.
This will be achieved by providing places of work and employment opportunities in the local area, by the economic in-flow to the local area, and by sharing ownership locally; by providing a programme of education and events in the rural environment; and by providing free, welcoming and well managed access to the natural environment on public footpaths, bridle paths and permissive routes through the farm, woodland and river banks of the Estate.
Rush Farm Children’s Garden is an important part of Stockwood Community Benefit Society’s vision and it aims to support the Early Years Setting’s growth into the future.
